It moves surprisingly freely.
Furthermore, it is easy to throw.
This is the signature bimetal model of Mizuki Takimoto, the 2019 3A National Champion.
As Takimoto's signature model, the Rami aims to be a yo-yo that marks the turning point for a "more nimble 3A."
Until now, the emphasis on yo-yos used in 3A has been on stability and spin.
However, what was needed for a yo-yo that could respond at a high level to Takimoto's ideal of "speedy and dynamic freestyle based on the coordination of two yo-yos" was "lightweight maneuverability."
Compared to the 3A models that are currently mainstream in the contest scene, the overall specs have been downsized to provide a lighter feel. This allows for greater control and smoother flow, even in tricks like double trapeze, where power transfer is difficult.
Rami also focused on making the 3A yo-yo "easy to throw."
Throwing with your non-dominant hand can be tricky even for skilled players.
For example, even if you have a strong rotational force, if the angle of the yo-yo you throw isn't the same on both sides, you won't be able to fully utilize it.
In other words, in 3A, "ease of throwing" is one of the elements that should be treated equally with stability and spin.
In order to fully utilize the performance of the carefully crafted Lami, we pursued "ease of throwing" and tuned up the straight shape that is characteristic of YYR to the optimal shape.
The wide edge allows your middle finger to fit in comfortably, providing stability when holding the yo-yo, while the diameter fits securely in the palm of your hand, allowing you to control the throw with your fingertips.
Furthermore, the stainless steel rim of the inner rim mechanism, which is a testament to the high performance of the Anomaly that has supported Takimoto for a long time, is also used in the Lami, achieving both rotational power and collision resistance.
There is no lack of sleep in Takimoto's highly coordinated 3A tricks or long combos during freestyle.
In the 5A, which has the same number of collisions as the 3A, and of course in the 1A, it will demonstrate its rotational power, high strength, and light maneuverability.
A nimble yo-yo option for 3A.
