Membership Terms and Conditions
Article 1 (Purpose of These Terms)
These Membership Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) set forth the matters to be mutually observed and agreed upon by YOYO Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and its members in relation to the use of the membership service YoYoRecreation Membership, which is operated by the Company.
Article 2 (Definition of Members)
A “Member” refers to an individual who has agreed to these Terms, applied for membership in the YoYoRecreation Membership to the Company, and completed the procedures prescribed by the Company.
Applicants who are minors must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Article 3 (Enrollment in Membership Services and Member Registration)
The Company operates both physical retail stores (hereinafter referred to as “Stores”) and online stores (hereinafter referred to as “Online Shops”).
Each Member will be provided with an individual member-only webpage (hereinafter referred to as the “My Page”).
Members shall manage their Member ID and password at their own responsibility. Such credentials may only be used by the Member本人 and may not be transferred, lent, or disclosed to any third party.
Members may not hold multiple memberships, membership cards, or similar membership qualifications.
The Company may change the content of the membership registration website without prior notice.
Article 4 (Use of Membership Services and Benefits)
Members may receive various information services, including email distributions. Members acknowledge in advance that some emails will be sent to all members regardless of individual preferences, and that all communication costs related to email receipt or website access shall be borne by the Member.
Members acknowledge that they may not receive membership benefits if they are unable to present or verify the Company-designated membership card or equivalent proof.
Membership benefits and the rights thereto may not be transferred to third parties or converted into cash.
If improper receipt of benefits due to holding multiple memberships is confirmed, the Company may cancel such benefits and request reimbursement for improperly obtained benefits.
The Company may change, revise, or discontinue all or part of the membership benefits without prior notice.
Article 5 (Changes to Registered Information)
If there is any change to the information registered at the time of joining the YoYoRecreation Membership, the Member shall promptly complete the required change procedures via the designated website.
If a Member becomes aware of any leakage or unauthorized use of their Member ID or password, the Member shall immediately notify YOYO Co., Ltd.
In such cases, accumulated points held by the affected YoYoRecreation Membership will, in principle, be forfeited.
The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from the leakage or misuse of a Member’s ID or password.
Article 6 (Obligations When Returning Products)
When returning products, Members must present a receipt at the Store.
Members acknowledge in advance that returns may not be accepted if the product is not eligible for return, if a receipt cannot be presented at the Store, or if the Company otherwise determines that a return cannot be accepted.
Article 7 (Membership Cancellation)
Members may cancel their YoYoRecreation Membership at any time. Upon cancellation, any benefits or services held at the time of cancellation shall become invalid.
Membership cancellation must be completed through the My Page.
Article 8 (Suspension or Loss of Membership Status and Benefits)
If a Member falls under any of the following circumstances, the Company may suspend the use of the YoYoRecreation Membership or revoke the Member’s membership status without prior notice.
In such cases, all accumulated points and membership benefits held by the Member shall also be forfeited.

If false information is provided in the membership registration, or if required update procedures are not completed, resulting in disruption to the Company’s operations

If these Terms are violated

If points or membership benefits are used fraudulently

If the Company otherwise determines that the Member is inappropriate for membership
Article 9 (Handling of Personal Information)
The Company shall acquire and use Members’ personal information for the following purposes:
(1) Providing membership benefits and various services
(2) Providing information on events, campaigns, and products
(3) Marketing use, including creation of statistical data related to usage
(4) Responding to inquiries
(5) Providing necessary information related to services and systems
The Company shall not provide or disclose Members’ personal information to third parties, except in the following cases:

When the Member has given consent

When outsourcing operations within the scope of the above purposes (in which case the Company will appropriately select and supervise contractors)

When used within the Company group within the scope of the above purposes

When cooperation with national or local government bodies or their contractors is required by law and obtaining consent may hinder such cooperation

When required by laws or regulations

When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of the Member or a third party and consent is difficult to obtain

When particularly necessary for public health improvement or the sound development of children and consent is difficult to obtain
If a Member requests notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or suspension of third-party provision of personal information managed by the Company, the Company shall respond promptly and within a reasonable scope in accordance with applicable laws after confirming the identity of the Member through prescribed procedures.
Article 10 (Amendment or Termination of These Terms)
The Company may amend these Terms and related operational content without prior notice to Members.
In such cases, the Company shall notify Members by posting the amended Terms on the membership terms page of the Company’s designated website.
Article 11 (Disclaimer)
If Member data is lost or becomes unreadable due to failures or troubles of computer equipment, communication devices, or communication lines necessary for providing the service, the Company may immediately cancel the membership registration or suspend the service without notice and without condition.
If a Member causes damage to another Member or a third party through use of the service, the Member shall resolve such issues at their own responsibility and expense and shall not cause any inconvenience or damage to the Company.
The Company shall not bear any responsibility for damages arising from the loss of Member data or the inability of a Member to use the service.
Article 12 (Jurisdiction)
In the event of any dispute arising between a Member and the Company in connection with these Terms, the Tokyo Summary Court or the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
