NSK, with bearing manufacturing technology backed by approximately 100 years of history, is one of the few Japanese companies to have been selected twice as one of the "Top 100 Globally Sustainable Companies," and is attracting attention both at home and abroad as a leader in the bearing industry.

In addition, in the development of specialized yo-yo bearings, the domestically produced bearings created through a joint venture between Soroham Co., Ltd. and NSK Micro Precision Co., Ltd. have been well received.

In the first place, yo-yo bearings do not contain any oil and are intended to be used in a so-called dry state.
Using bearings in dry conditions is not considered normal, and inevitably leads to a number of problems, such as abnormal noise and low durability.
Therefore, we developed a bearing that would rotate silently even in a dry state, based on the belief that this would be a high-quality bearing specifically for yo-yos.

Currently, Yoyorecreation has released the DS bearing, which uses a unique two-stage linear design to reduce friction with the string more than conventional concave bearings.

This time, we have improved the DS bearing using the bearing manufacturing technology of NSK Micro Precision Co., Ltd., and have succeeded in significantly improving its accuracy and durability.
Each and every part is machined with ultra-precision in a factory in Japan, and the bearings are carefully assembled one by one in a clean room, allowing them to continue rotating silently even in dry conditions.

We will be releasing the newly developed "NSK DS Bearing," which combines the smooth sliding properties of DS bearings with unprecedented rotational extension.
