This is the signature yo-yo of Gen Miura, who has won the world championship six times in a row and made an unprecedented achievement by winning two divisions at the same time in 2018.
Coincidentally, he won both categories using two yo-yos, making him a unique player in the history of yo-yos. Inspired by this, he took on the challenge of simultaneously developing a bimetal and off-string yo-yo of the same shape.
We have created yo-yos that can be used in competitions with just one or two of each.
While double-handed clubs tend to be somewhat narrower, we decided on a width that we thought would be the maximum width that would be suitable for tournament use. As a result, we settled on a specification that overlaps with the core of various single-handed club styles.
It has just the right weight to support long combos, yet is also flexible and comfortable.
